Reg is a licensed life insurance broker with an extensive background and training in Segregated funds, investment planning strategies and retirement planning. He has an accumulated 35+ years experience in the Financial Services Industry. 

 

After graduating from Red River College with his Business Administration Diploma, he began his career with Canada Permanent Trust Company in 1983 as an Account Executive then entered the Insurance Industry in 1987 with Sun Life Financial. Reg has successfully completed the Canadian Investment Funds course, the Life Underwriters Association training courses I & II, Sun Life professional development seminars I, II & III as well as Estate, Tax and Retirement planning and Business Insurance seminars. After gaining valuable experience in the industry, Reg ventured into the world of entrepreneurship to become an independent Financial Advisor by incorporating Reg Matheson Financial Services Limited in April 1998.
